Why travel with an insider

First-hand, not second-hand

Every route on this site comes from years of living and guiding here — the noodle shop, the wall section at sunset, the village most maps skip.

Built around you

Private car, private guide, your pace. History buff, foodie, or photographer — we shape the days around what you actually came for.

Honest local pricing

Clear quotes, no forced shopping stops, no hidden commissions. What you see in the itinerary is what you get.

Where we go deep

Start in Nanjing, the capital China forgot to advertise

Nanjing

Our home base and deepest expertise: the Ming city wall, Purple Mountain, Republican-era streets, and China's best duck.

Common questions from first-time visitors

Do I need a visa to visit China?

Many nationalities can now enter China visa-free or use the 240-hour visa-free transit policy. Rules change often, so check our updated guide or message us on WhatsApp with your nationality and itinerary.

Is it easy to pay as a foreign tourist in China?

Yes — Alipay and WeChat Pay both accept international cards, and they cover almost everything from metro rides to street food. We send every client a step-by-step payment setup guide before arrival.

Why start with Nanjing instead of Beijing or Shanghai?

Nanjing is China at street level: a 600-year-old city wall you can walk, Republican-era avenues, the best salted duck in the country — and none of the tour-bus crowds. It sits on the Beijing–Shanghai high-speed rail line, 90 minutes from Shanghai.
